BOTOX contains synthesized Botulinum toxin type A. It works by blocking the release of Acetylcholine (a chemical neurotransmitter) from nerve endings. This prevents the mucles from contracting,and hence prevents the appearance of wrinkles on face, by relaxing the muscles. Botox works to eliminate wrinkles in fore head, brow area, crows feet, we use botox to give a face lift, and eliminate wrinkles from the neck areas as well

 

 

what is an ideal age to start botox
it is always ideal to start botox at a young age before the wrinkles appear, because botox does not work on existing wrinkles but will prevent new ones from developing, preventive botox helps on forehead and crows feet from developing. A good anti aging package for the face would be upper 1/3 face-botox, middle 1/3 of face-fillers and radiofrequency, lower 1/3-botox,and skin tightening with laser lipolysis. Botox action takes 2-3 days to start and will last depending upon the dosage for 6-12 months.
botox is US-FDA approved for reduction of wrinkles, and the only precaution people have to follow is not to massage the treated areas for atleast a day to prevent botox .

Juvederm
Juvederm can now be called a painless filler as it contains lidocaine which takes away the pain of injecting the filler. We have been using restylane and now juvederm, as our choice of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. The results of fillers on areas like nasolabila fold will last around 9 months.
